After Rudy Giuliani claimed in a press interview his associate consulted with a Greenberg Traurig shareholder about a massive legal fee for representing former President Donald Trump, the Am Law 100 firm has denied any involvement and distanced itself from Giuliani, who was previously a Greenberg Traurig lawyer himself.

According to a New York Times report late last month, Giuliani acknowledged that one of his associates had requested a fee of $20,000 a day to handle Trump’s post-election legal challenges.
