Eight of Shearman & Sterling’s arbitration partners, including global arbitration heads Emmanuel Gaillard and Yas Banifatemi, are leaving the firm to set up their own boutique.

According to a joint statement with Shearman on Monday, the duo, alongside partners Coralie Darrigade, Ximena Herrera-Bernal, Maude Lebois, Daniel Reich, Mohamed Shelbaya and Benjamin Siino, are launching their own firm named Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes.
