The legal industry has faced a reckoning with mental health and substance abuse problems in recent years, as lawyers and legal professionals have come forward to share their stories and pull back the curtains on an ongoing crisis.
That's why nearly two years ago Law.com embarked on the project Minds Over Matters: An Examination of Mental Health in the Legal Profession. The first Mental Health and Substance Abuse Survey was an important part of that endeavor, and we're conducting the survey once again to help the industry understand where it stands today, at a time when mental health may be at greater risk than ever before. We kindly ask that you take a few minutes to complete the survey and encourage your colleagues to do so as well, so that we can best represent the perspectives of the entire industry.
The result of last year's survey was a revealing look at the depths of the challenges lawyers and legal professionals face.
