A judge has recused newly elected jurist Brittanye Morris of Houston from a case after allegations arose about text messages Morris sent to a litigant. But another litigant claims the texts filed in court documents are a forgery.
Morris had previously declined to recuse herself. Now Presiding Judge Susan Brown of the 11th Administrative Judicial Region granted a recusal motion.
