Dominion Voting Systems has sued former President Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani over false statements he made about the company in trying to undermine the 2020 election results.
The lawsuit, filed Monday in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, is the second defamation action from the company targeting an attorney involved in making baseless claims and asserting failed legal arguments about the presidential election, which Trump lost to President Joe Biden.
