A New Jersey judge is being asked to dismiss a criminal indictment, based on claims that the virtual grand jury process used to obtain it was unconstitutional, in a case that now involves Fox Rothschild attorneys.

Defense lawyer John Furlong Jr. has asked a judge in Mercer County Superior Court to dismiss the grand jury indictment for Omar Vega-Larregui because remote participation by grand jurors hampered their ability to observe the testimony of the arresting officer and to view exhibits.
