In June, Paul Hastings announced it had hired former Deloitte life sciences consultant BJ D’Avella to head up its new life sciences consulting group, hoping to capitalize on what has been a hot practice area this year. Apparently it’s going well.

D’Avella and the firm announced earlier this month that it had added five life sciences veterans to its consulting staff, in part as a buildup to what the firm sees as an opportunity for a strong business environment for regulatory consulting once a Democratic administration takes the reins in January.
