New York’s state court system will be scaling back the number of employees working inside certain courthouses starting Monday as the system reports a surge in new coronavirus cases among its personnel, a system official said Friday.
The official, state court spokesman Lucian Chalfen, said other changes are coming Monday for areas of the state excluding New York City. Those changes include requiring no more than 50% of courtrooms in a facility to be in use at a time, he said.
