Two judges’ associations are slamming the state court system’s decision to push dozens of older New York judges off the bench, calling it a hasty move made without careful consideration.

The organizations—Supreme Court Justices Association of the City of New York and the Association of Justices of the Supreme Court of the State of New York—have issued separate letters to Chief Judge Janet DiFiore.
