Drew Eckl & Farnham had already embarked on a push to improve its racial and gender diversity at the start of 2020. Then, George Floyd’s death at the hands of police in late May and subsequent racial justice protests galvanized its leadership to accelerate the pace.

This summer the Atlanta-based firm approved a series of additional initiatives, designed to measurably increase the proportion of lawyers of color and women—ultimately to equity partnership.
