The woman who has overseen the New York bar exam for the past 19 years won’t be at the helm in October when the state gives its first-ever online attorney licensing exam.
Diane Bosse, chair of New York State Board of Law Examiners since 2001, retired Sept. 2. The New York Court of Appeals has appointed retired Judge Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick as the new board chair. Ciparick sat on the Court of Appeals from 1994 to 2012 and is now of counsel at Greenberg Traurig.
