Over the past three months, chief legal officers and general counsels were appointed during the COVID-19 pandemic at a rate similar to last summer.

With the start of September, summer hiring comes to an end. What is usually a high time to earn a new job remained that way for top lawyers. From our JuneJuly and August reports, top lawyers seemed to be appointed at a normal rate unlike in March and April when the number of appointments took a dip and slowly rebounded in May.
