Civil rights attorney Ben Crump has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Black farmers demanding that Monsanto take its Roundup herbicide off the market.
The suit, filed on Wednesday in Missouri federal court by the National Black Farmers Association, alleges that Monsanto’s failure to warn that Roundup could cause non-Hodgkin lymphoma has disproportionately affected Black farmers.
