Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Harold D. Melton has once again extended the statewide judicial emergency brought on by the coronavirus disease.
Melton issued a 12-page order posted on the court’s website Tuesday extending the emergency for the fifth time since March. The order generally follows the rules he laid out when he first announced the judicial emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic on March 14.
