Chief executive officers for public and private companies aren’t particularly satisfied with the business acumen of their general counsels, according to a new report.
Of the more than 100 CEOs who participated in a BarkerGilmore survey, only 55% said their chief lawyers acted as a strategic business partner and was considered to be a valued member of the company’s leadership team.
