An in-house lawyer named Colin Levy struck a nerve in early May as the COVID-19 recession was ripping through the legal industry. He wrote on Twitter that he’d lost his job as general counsel for and it was “brutal.” 

Too many in-house lawyers have lost their jobs over the past few months. But few have been as transparent and outspoken about the experience.
