The number of complaints by clients against law firms in the U.K. has topped 30,000 for the first time, according to the latest numbers by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Law firms received a total of 30,836 ‘first-tier’ complaints across 2019, which refer to initial complaints made by clients over dissatisfaction of service. It is a 9% rise on the previous year and a 20% rise since 2013.
