When Miami attorney Trelvis Randolph went for his daily run Thursday morning, his mind was elsewhere.

It was on Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old black man who was killed while taking his daily jog around a South Georgia neighborhood. Arbery died in February, but his case hit global headlines this week when a video emerged, purportedly depicting him being confronted mid-jog by two armed white men, one of whom shot him at close range.
