A defamation case against CNN over its 2015 investigation of infant deaths at a Florida hospital has settled confidentially—the second settlement that Atlanta libel lawyer L. Lin Wood has reached with CNN this year. 

The Atlanta-based cable news network’s settlement resolves a $30 million libel lawsuit filed by David Carbone, the former CEO of St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, Wood said.
