The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has tapped former Treasury Department adviser Michael Strauss to serve as general counsel.
Strauss is slated to start his new position in January at the bank’s London headquarters. He succeeds Marie-Anne Birken, a Dutch national who joined the bank in 2014 and is retiring at the end of the year.
