TESTY – The July 2019 bar exam gets underway today, as nearly 50,000 lawyer hopefuls head to test sites across the country. And we have questions: How will the State Bar of California’s decision to release essay topics ahead of time impact test takers in the Golden State? Will the national average score on the Multistate Bar Exam—the multiple choice portion—tick up as it did in 2016 and 2017, or sink like it did in 2018? Will there be any more major missteps in the administration or scoring of the exam this go around? More will be revealed …
