Here at ALM Media, we’re launching an exciting new LinkedIn Group: ALM Young Professionals Network (YPN). The group will have conversations that spread across each of our core industries: legal, benefits, insurance, financial services, consulting and real estate. Our goal is to be a place of inspiration and help in dealing with those challenges we all face early in our careers. From salary negotiations to leadership to addressing diversity issues and more, ALM Young Professionals Network will guide conversations on how tomorrow’s leaders can tackle every career milestone.

So far the group has been discussing some important topics that affect every young professional: work-life balance, how to set yourself apart in a new company, and handling student debt while still being able to save for retirement. The group members also have been sharing lessons they have learned that have been pertinent to being successful in their careers, which is invaluable advice.
