Michigan-based furniture manufacturer La-Z-Boy announced Tuesday that it has named an experienced general counsel to replace its retiring legal leader.

Stephen Krull was named the company’s vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. He will manage all of the company’s legal matters, including corporate securities, compliance, litigation, intellectual property and patents, mergers and acquisitions, and contracts. Krull is replacing longtime general counsel Rand Tucker, who is retiring after 20 years with the company. Tucker began working with La-Z-Boy in 1999, according to his LinkedIn profile.
