Morgan, Lewis & Bockius has hired former Clifford Chance counsel Hao Su as a corporate partner in Beijing.

Su specializes in cross-border M&A deals. Last year, he was part of a team that advised state-owned oil producer China National Petroleum Corp. on its investment in a $4.8 billion gas project in Iran, the country’s first foreign oil and gas contract signed since international economic sanctions were lifted in 2016. (The Trump administration reimposed its own sanctions on Iran earlier this year.)
