Food and beverage lawyer Angela Spivey has joined Alston & Bird from McGuireWoods, where she had been the managing partner of the Atlanta office.

Spivey also co-chaired McGuireWoods’ food and beverage team and was a member of its board of partners. She brought with her a senior associate, Laura Venker, in Washington, who advises food and beverage clients on compliance and import-export issues.
