A Fulton County jury awarded more than $27 million in a case stemming from a fatal 2016 wreck where a 20-year-old woman, who had been drinking at a strip club, blew through a red light and hit another vehicle.
The club, Riley’s Show Bar on Fulton Industrial Boulevard in southwest Atlanta, defaulted when its lawyer apparently failed to confirm his answer was properly e-filed with the court, and the case was tried on damages only.
