Since LexisNexis acquired Ravel Law a little over a year ago, the legal research giant has progressively integrated the startup’s analytics and data visualization tools into its wider product suite. Now, LexisNexis is looking to apply Ravel tools to one of its bread and butter features: case law research.
On June 28, LexisNexis announced the release of Ravel View, a data visualization technology that creates a visual map of the cases and language that LexisNexis says judges find most important. The technology is integrated into the company’s Lexis Advance platform and is rolling out for those customers over the next several weeks.
