The state Superior Court has rejected former Penn State president Graham Spanier‘s efforts to overturn his conviction for child endangerment in connection with failing to properly report abuses by serial child molester Jerry Sandusky.

A split three-judge panel ruled Tuesday to affirm the guilty verdict a Dauphin County jury handed up last year on a single count of endangering the welfare of a child. The ruling further affirmed the sentence Spanier received, of four to 12 months’ incarceration.
