The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit said “no way” to an Alabama trade group seeking to collect $1.7 million from a Georgia farm family for taking their crop off the market one year.

In an opinion released Monday affirming the district court, Judge Kevin Newsom — joined by Judge Elizabeth Branch and Senior Judge R. Lanier Anderson — quoted the “King of Blues” talking about a crop known as king of the South.
