As the battle for elite capital markets talent rages in Texas, Baker Botts has snatched a capital markets partner from Kirkland & Ellis, which has been building its office in Houston with lateral hires from big Texas firms.
Justin Hoffman joined Baker Botts in Houston on June 13 after two years at Kirkland. He moved to Houston in 2014 as counsel at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, coming from the firm’s New York office.
