Half a dozen lawyers from Troutman Sanders’ Asian offices—Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai—have joined Big Four auditor EY’s legal services arm as the Atlanta-based firm prepares to close the offices by the end of May.
Corporate partner Rossana Chu joins EY Law’s Hong Kong member firm, LC Lawyers, as co-managing partner from Troutman’s Hong Kong office. Chu arrives alongside energy partner Lynia Lau and two corporate associates. Lau was most recently a consultant with Troutman Sanders; she joined the U.S. firm last year from Stephenson Harwood, where she led the Asia energy and resources practice; before that, she was chief representative for Clyde & Co‘s Beijing office.
