The Atlanta legal community faces a steep climb to meet a goal of raising $250,000 for the Atlanta Community Food Bank by the end of Friday, the last day of the Georgia Legal Food Frenzy.
At 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, the Atlanta portion of the statewide event had raised about $145,000, leaving it $105,000 shy of its goal. The final days of the campaign are usually very productive, however. Last year the community raised $70,000 in the final two days for a total of $190,000.
