Arent Fox has named Andrew Silfen, who leads its bankruptcy and financial restructuring group, as managing partner of the 76-attorney New York office. He will continue to lead the bankruptcy practice and serve as an executive committee member.
Silfen, 53, succeeds Michael Blass, who will continue his role on the executive committee and his practice focusing on corporate transactions and regulatory healthcare matters. Silfen said Blass stepped down voluntarily, believing it was time for a change after leading the New York office for the past seven years.
