Fredric Green, the longtime chief of the sex crimes bureau at the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, has been appointed chief of the Special Prosecutions Division and a second deputy district attorney.
In his new position, Green oversees all cases of child abuse, domestic violence and crimes against the elderly and supervises a staff of 12 lawyers and 11 support staff. The division encompasses two bureaus, a unit and a victims’ justice center. He is now one of five second deputy district attorneys.
