The Brooklyn storage facility engulfed by a fire over the weekend could have contained tens of thousands of boxes of New York court records and was one of four main storage facilities for the state court system.

Ronald Younkins, executive director of the Office of Court Administration, said the court records at CitiStorage in Williamsburg, where a fire was still smoldering Monday, include documents from Supreme Court cases in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn, as well as some Family and Criminal Court records.
