Flaster Greenberg shareholder William Burnett has been recently appointed to a new standing local bankruptcy rules committee established by the U.S Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Burnett will serve a two-year term and is charged with the duty to annually review the Local Bankruptcy Rules and Forms and to make recommendations to the Board of Judges for any additions or amendments. The 16-member board consists of members from the UST Office, Office of the Chapter 13 Standing Trustee, panel Chapter 7 Trustees, consumer and commercial debtor and creditor attorneys as well as members of legal assistance organizations.
