Become Comfortable With the Unknown

The first few years of practice can feel overwhelming and disorienting. While law school helped us hone our critical thinking and logical reasoning skills, it’s common to feel unprepared for the day-to-day realities of practicing law. Indeed, it is as if you are tasked with navigating a dark tunnel, equipped with a flashlight that only turns on every few hundred feet. This is especially true for those of us who entered practice during the height of the pandemic.
