What happens in Vegas likely won’t be happening there again for at least another year. The Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) released its 2021 events calendar Tuesday along with confirmation that the organization’s annual Global Institute—usually held at the Bellagio—will be an entirely virtual affair taking place from May 10-13. A hosting platform will be decided on later this month.

The decision comes almost a year after the COVID-19 pandemic forced many legal organizations to rapidly change plans for 2020 events on the fly. CLOC, for example, swapped the Bellagio out for a weekly webinar series that replicated many of the panels traditionally held in Las Vegas.
