Gonzalez Calvillo, a full-service law firm based in Mexico City, plans to open an office in northern Mexico to better serve clients who are looking for advice on near-shoring.

Hugo Peña, head of business development at Gonzalez Calvillo, said the firm is still determining which partners will move to Monterrey. Also, he said the firm plans to hire several local lawyers.
