A team of Georgia attorneys has filed a lawsuit on behalf of a man who allegedly was so severely burned by an MRI machine that he has permanent damage to his left forearm.

In the lawsuit, filed Nov. 14 in Floyd County Superior Court, Charles Gregory Swinford of Chattooga County, sued AdventHealth Redmond hospital in Rome, Rome Radiology Group, Dr. Michael Holcombe and other health care professionals and companies regarding the incident.
