A South Florida law firm obtained a seven-figure settlement in the Miami state court after plaintiff counsel showed an apartment complex and its property manager failed to have reasonable security measures to prevent and deter criminal activity on its premises, resulting in a catastrophic injury.

Pedro P. Echarte III and Michael Haggard, a partner and the managing partner at the Haggard Law Firm in Coral Gables, respectively, represented the plaintiff, Justin Acevedo, for severe injuries sustained at an apartment complex owned by  defendant, SP BCC LP. Acevedo also sued the property manager, Cambridge Management Inc.
