Despite Dory Mancebo’s loss of eyesight, she just graduated from Florida International University, and her experience there taught her that the law field can benefit from giving chances to lawyers with different experiences.

Mancebo lost her vision when she was 14 years old due to a condition called iris coloboma. But about seven years before she lost her eyesight, she got a glimpse of the campus and its vibrant green foliage. Ever since then, she’s talked about wanting to attend FIU.
