Attorneys general announced a $20 million multistate settlement with payment processor ACI Worldwide Inc. over unauthorized withdrawals, and a $1.4 million settlement with health care clearinghouse Inmediata Corp.

William Tong, attorney general of Connecticut, and Department of Banking Commissioner Jorge Perez led a coalition of 50 states and territories in the settlement with ACI Worldwide over a testing error in 2021, which led to an unauthorized $2.3 billion withdrawal from Nationstar Mortgage.
