Airbnb deputy general counsel and chief ethics officer Peter Urias says “finding a company that aligns with your values is not always easy to do.” He says he found that at Airbnb, which “really invests in its people.”

Urias has been with San Francisco-based Airbnb for six years, starting as senior counsel for employment and becoming chief of staff in 2020 and deputy GC and ethics chief a year later. His legal responsibilities include trust, safety, community support, community policies and anti-discrimination.
