New York-based iHeartMedia Inc. announced Tuesday that its deputy general counsel will take on the top legal role effective Jan. 1, while the company’s current general counsel prepares for retirement.

Deputy general counsel Jordan Fasbender will report to iHeartMedia CEO Bob Pittman and chief operating officer Rich Bressler. Fasbender will oversee all legal functions for the company’s divisions and multiplatform assets, which include 860 live broadcast stations in over 160 markets in the United States.
