Accenture, the Dublin-based professional services company, announced Monday that its deputy general counsel will be taking over as the company’s top lawyer and compliance chief in September.

Joel Unruch, currently senior managing director, deputy general counsel and corporate secretary, will become general counsel and chief compliance officer for the company. Interim CEO David Rowland said in the press release that Unruch has proved himself to be a trusted adviser to the board.
