After retiring from President Joe Biden’s cabinet in March, former U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Marcia Fudge is joining Cincinnati, Ohio-born Am Law 100 firm Taft Stettinius & Hollister as a partner in the public affairs strategies group and in the new role of firmwide chair of public policy.

Fudge starts at Taft on Tuesday after five decades in elected office and government service, most recently serving as HUD secretary since her confirmation in March 2021. The White House announced Fudge’s retirement March 11.
