On Nov. 5, 2021, Liberty Mutual Insurance, in partnership with Suffolk University, hosted their annual Legal Design challenge, a one-day event that brings law students from across the country together to solve today’s biggest legal issues.

Thirty-six law students from six schools participated in the competition, which places students through a series of design exercises to drive collaboration and skill-building. With only one day to generate the idea, this year’s challenge focused on access to legal services, touching on virtual legal education, the virtual Legal Profession, and the Virtual Administration of the Law.
