Latham & Watkins has hired Fenwick & West’s veteran dealmaker Greg Roussel to boost its technology transaction capabilities in the Silicon Valley.
Roussel, who is known for advising Facebook on a number of major deals including its $1 billion acquisition of Instagram and its roughly $2 billion acquisition of Oculus VR, has joined Latham’s corporate department and mergers and acquisitions group as a partner in the firm’s Menlo Park, California, office.
