Cloud computing company Vapor IO, based in Austin, Texas, hired Catherine Bedell as general counsel this week, and audio hosting platform SoundCloud welcomed an Amazon.com Inc. and Audible Inc. veteran to take charge of legal matters in Berlin, the company’s headquarters.
Bedell is one of three major hires for Vapor IO, which works with businesses to set up data center hardware and software systems. The company also hired Matt Trifiro as chief marketing officer and David Gino as chief financial officer.
